Widely adored doll brand Bratz is celebrating Pride month by releasing a duo pack of the out-and-proud Bratz couple, Roxxi and Nevra, on June 1.

The dolls were created as a collaboration with fashion designer Jimmy Paul and manufacturer Difuzed. Paul commonly references pop culture and “an ultra-high sense of cuteness,” which can be recognized in Roxxi and Nevra’s wardrobe.

Along with creating the two-pack of dolls for Bratz fans of all ages, Bratz’s parent company MGA Entertainment will be donating $25,000 to The Trevor Project through their MGA Cares charity program. The Trevor Project is currently the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for LGBTQ youth.

“For more than 20 years, the Bratz brand has remained true to its values of inclusivity and authenticity, and the Bratz Pride x Jimmy Paul collaboration speaks volumes to this commitment,” Bratz creative director Jasmin Larian said in a statement.

Roxxi and Nevra have both been a part of the Bratz pack for nearly two decades, with Nevra’s debut in 2003 and Roxxi’s shortly after in 2004. However, they were not announced as a couple until June 2020 as a social media spotlight.

“This collaboration is a love letter to the LGBTQ+ community, many of whom have been inspired by Bratz since childhood to live their truth,” Paul said in a statement. “My hope is that the collection brings a glimpse of hope and power and serves as a reminder of both the vibrancy of the community and the gravity of LGBTQ+ affairs today.”

Roxxi and Nevra’s new looks will also be available for purchase in human-sized versions, so fans can match their dolls’ vibrant rainbow coats. Every piece included for this collection will be available June 1 on the official Jimmypaul website.
