TAMPA | | The Straz Center for the Performing Arts announced Sept. 7 that the remaining performances of “Avenue Q” have been rescheduled due to COVID-19.

The production opened Aug. 31 and was slated to run through Sept. 25. All performances scheduled from Sept. 7-11 were cancelled after routine testing detected a positive case of COVID-19 among the cast and crew.

“All purchasers for the cancelled performances will automatically have their ticket transferred into a new performance and will be notified via e-mail,” the Straz shared. Performances will resume the week of Sept. 12, with additional performances added the week of Sept. 26.

Parties who require a refund can call the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office at 813-229-7827. Tickets on sale for the new performances are currently on sale.
