ST. PETERSBURG | Come OUT St. Pete held its inaugural Family Day Oct. 9 at Seminole Park, preceded by a Pride Run St. Pete 5K Run/Walk.

The latter was presented in partnership with the Pride Run Series, which organizes similar 5Ks nationwide. Local vendors, entertainers and supporters celebrated National Coming Out Day afterwards.

Miss COSP Rockell Blu, Mr. COSP Adam Cole and Ambassador Caezia Giovanni Kreshe each performed, joined by Kori Stevens, Alexis De La Mer and Veronica Vixen. The event culminated in the unfurling of COSP’s 375-foot Pride flag.

The organization’s festivities will continue Oct. 30 during Halloween on Central 2. Read more in their official guide Oct. 13, available in the next edition of Watermark, and view photos from the Oct. 9 celebration below.
