ORLANDO | With Halloween falling on a Monday this year, you might assume people wouldn’t go all out but as it turns out that wasn’t the case as Savoy Orlando hosted its Halloween night with a packed house.
Filled to the brim with costumes, the evening kicked off with a Halloween edition of Musical Martini Mondays, DJ’ed by Kirk Hartlage, then DJ Joanie took over before “Ghouls and Giggles” which was hosted by April Fresh and featured performances by Trixie Deluxxe, Chantel Reshae and Venus Envy.
Appropriately, at midnight, the crowd piled into The Starlite Room for the costume contest where April and Chantel presented several prizes in bar tabs.
Based on the crowd’s reaction it was very tight competition, but it was very obvious the crowd’s overall favorite was the “Game of Thrones” knight who not only got to take home a brand new TV and large bar tab but also got the bragging rights of being 2022’s costume contest winner!
