LoveHandlin’: Renewal

In the span of a single second, our lives can be turned upside down as we continue to grapple with the social, economic and personal changes brought about by the pandemic, gun violence and armed global conflicts, not to mention as well as national and state politics. I invite you right now to pause and breathe. Our lives are in constant flux — physically, yes — but more so energetically, and these changes can happen faster than we can fathom.

With the constant and continuous attacks on our communities, tweet trash and information coming at us from every corner, it is understandable that our fight-or-flight response is always on high alert and, if these unstoppable processes of change and renewal find you unprepared, they can become unwelcome puzzles of dismay. Yet as scary as changes can be for many, more often than not, changes can become the source of extraordinary leaps into uncharted emotional and personal territories, and that feeling of renewal is incredibly precious.

Even though we can sometimes be unaware of the subtle energetic vibrational shifts that are occurring around us, there is always an intuitive aspect of your existence that is both intelligent and compassionate. This intuition sits at the heart of transformation and renewal, and since changes don’t give you a choice, we can use the compass of our hearts to set sail into these unknown circumstances. Many of us go about our lives using reactionary responses to situations, which is a feral nod to our primal nature.

Alternatively, we must pursue intuition to promptly create space for proactivity to manifest. The renewal process is a conscious process but only if you decide to be proactive about it. In this awareness, there are three aspects I would like to share in Lovehandlin’ the process of becoming a master of your intuition and being more proactive towards change in your life.

Intention

From the moment you wake up each day, you make an infinite array of conscious and subconscious decisions that cause the energy around you to shift and inevitably create a ripple effect in people, situations and circumstances that affect the world around you. Naturally, a lot of these energy shifts can be imperceptible but in many instances the energy you pour into a situation, whether big or small, can send shockwaves to those surrounding you who can feel your energetic marker resonating in calm or distress. In this intention lies a great power. Many times we gloat about our freedoms, yet the slightest disturbance in your frequency brings about chaos and disorder, and for me, this is far from being truly free, and real freedom starts with your intention. The logical reasoning of the immediate energetic consequences of your thoughts and actions from moment to moment may seem inconsequential for many, but the truth is that this detailed focus on your current state of thought and emotions represents your personal power, which moves you to intentionally charge the energetic tide of your current being with nothing more than your will. Understandably so, how can we create such a state of awareness when attacks seem to come from the places we hold dear and safe? The formulation of intention, a change in perspective or the creation of a goal can transform our lives in the blink of an eye. With each passing moment, we are given innumerable opportunities to create change using nothing more than our awareness.

Manifestation

Manifestation has become a common buzzword in recent years as more individuals learn how to harness their inner power to produce transformation in their lives. The reality of it all lies in the realization that once we have set forward an onslaught of intentions, the energy will follow suit like your own shadow. In the realm of physics, it is widely accepted that the total amount of energy in the universe has always been and will always be constant. However, this does not mean that energy is immutable; it can change form and even transfer between objects. One of the easiest ways to manifest your intentions is through the written or spoken word, as they transform your intentions into discernable and achievable goals. Now, it is important to remind you of one of the human energy’s most insidious properties and that is its unbiased nature. We all have the power to use energy for the better, yet energy carries no judgment from its source. If your intentions are destructive and you put enough force into manifesting those desires, the energy will flow unbiasedly toward achieving that goal. The same goes for constructive intentions. Your energy will not discern whether it is harnessed to uplift or destroy, that willful decision is entirely up to the source, meaning you.

Transformation

Though it may not always be obvious, energy transfers and transformations happen constantly all around us enabling life as we know it to exist. Transformation is a universal constant that affects our lives from the moment we are born until we leave earthly existence back into energetic ascension. As the common quote birthed out of Heraclitus muses: “Change is the only constant.” Renewal and transformation can be painful, uncomfortable and many times transcendental, though it is our response to those forces that will dictate the nature and quality of our experiences because at the heart of every transformation, no matter how chaotic, there is substance. The moment we see opportunity in every transformational moment, we experience true freedom to feel, move and exist.

The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only converted from one form of energy to another. In the same way, progress can never be detained, constrained or thwarted, for any attempt at destroying it only creates a pendulum swing that will strike down stagnation and keep the flow moving. This is inevitable and if you are willing to embrace it proactively, taking hold of your intention and being conscious of your manifestations, its lasting impact will nearly always be physically, spiritually and intellectually transformative.
