The National LGBTQ Task Force launched a podcast in honor of its 50th anniversary and released a special episode on being LGBTQ in the military on May 25 ahead of the Memorial Day weekend.

Movement Moments: The National LGBTQ Task Force at 50 is a series of conversations about the history of the Task Force with the voices and organizers that brought about these moments.

The episode “I’m Ready For This Fight” – Being LGBTQ in the Military with Tanya Domi & Joe Zungia released Friday just in time for Memorial Day. Domi, served in the military for 15 years and then joined the Task Force to run the Military Readiness Project. Zuniga, was a soldier when Bill Clinton pledged to raise the ban on open service but would eventually find their way to Task Force to share their story and would join the March on Washington to come out as a gay soldier.

The two lifelong friends sit down to talk about their history of service, how they joined the Task Force, their thoughts on how the military has changed, and the current state of American politics.
