Red Ribbon Run returns April 28
The annual Red Ribbon Run, benefitting Metro Wellness and Community Centers, will be held at Al Lopez Park on Sunday, April 28. Registration for the 5K run/1-Mile walk, begins at 7 a.m. at the park, located at 4810 N. Himes Ave. in Tampa. Registration is $25 for the 5K and $15 for teh shorter Fun Run. UUC Sarasota hosts LGBT Movie nights
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota now hosts LGBTQ Movie nights every fourth Friday at 7:30 p.m. The free event at 3975 Fruitville Road features different films with LGBT themes. On April 26, the church will show Pariah. For details, visit UUSarasota.org. Donations are requested, but not required.
