The 2009 Equality Florida Sarasota Gala is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 and is expected to be one of the largest in the state. The evening event will be at the home of Garett and Stephanie Puzzo on Siesta Key.
The annual gala gives Sarasota residents a chance to hear a “State of the State” address from Equality Florida executive director Nadine Smith. Other LGBT leaders will also speak, and there will be food and drinks. The suggested donation is $100.
