Polish soccer goalie Arek Onyszko has found himself in the unemployment line after his soccer club released him from the team when he went on a rant against gays.
“I hate gays, I really do,” Onyszko said in his new book F-king Polack. “I think it’s … disgusting to hear them talk to each other as if they are girls. I can’t be in the same room as someone who’s gay. Look at them kissing each other—it’s sickening.”
Onyszko was offered another job with a Copenhagen team, but that was withdrawn after the team’s chairman discovered what was written in the book.
Poland does not legally recognize same-sex relationships but does allow gay men and lesbians to serve in its military.
