Harvey Milk tribute dinner slated for May 22
Stand Up Florida will host a tribute dinner to Harvey Milk on Saturday, May 22, at Streetcar Charlie’s in Ybor City. The 5:30 p.m. tribute begins with a meet and greet with guests and featured speakers, including author Romaine Patterson. Art Pedalers to raise money for Francis House
Five local bands and more than 30 artists will combine their talents to entertain locals and raise money for the Francis House and the AIDS Lifecycle on Sunday, May 2. Art Pedalers is a collection of five local bands and more than 30 local artists brought together at the Ritz Ybor. Tickets to the all-day event are $15 and proceeds benefit both charities.
