Here is a list of events going on this weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July:
ORLANDO
FireWERK 4th of July Weekend at Southern Nights Orlando
Kick off the Fourth of July weekend at South Nights Orlando. The July 1 event will include drag shows with Roxxxy Andrews, Tasha Long, Maya Andrews and Chevelle Brooks at 11 and 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. Free cover before 11 p.m. for those 21 and older.
Independence Weekend with Thorgy Thor & Pandora Boxx
Let freedom ring with RuPaul’s Drag Race Thorgy Thor & Pandora Boxx on July 2 at Parliament House! The event begins at 8 p.m. and will include shows at 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. DJ Brianna will be on the turntables all night. Admission is $10 and everyone 18 and older is welcomed.
Red, Hot & Boom at Cranes Roost Park
The City of Altamonte Springs and XL 1067 FM host another spectacular concert and firework event on July 3. Come rain or shine, Red Hot & Boom will kick off at 4 p.m. and go on until 11 p.m. The firework show starts at 9 p.m. This year’s lineup includes R. City, Daya, Ben Rector, Ruth B, KatelynJae and Frequency Band.
Freedom Celebration at The Venue
The Venue celebrates the Forth of July with a Burlesque show presented by the Ladies of the Peek-A-Boo Lounge. The event takes place on July 4 and doors open at 9 p.m. for cocktails. The show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 for theme park employees, $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Call 407-412-6895 to RSVP.(Group Discounts Available)
Fireworks at the Fountain in Lake Eola
Join the City of Orlando in celebrating Independence Day with the 39th annual Fireworks at the Fountain. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and live music will be playing during the event. The event takes place July 4 from 4 – 10 p.m., with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.
TAMPA BAY
Proud to be an ABEARican! at Southern Nights Tampa
NeiBEARhood Takeover and MAN MEAT Friday’s at Souther Nights Tampa will celebrate the Independence on July 1. This men only event will include a Patriotic Performance by Bearonce Bear at 12 a.m. and ticket giveaways at 1 a.m. for International Bear Bash Orlando: World’s Fair Sept. 27t – Oct. 2. Free cover before 11 p.m. for those 21 and older, $5 after.
Finding Glory: Underwater Glow Party at Honey Pot
Light up the night at Honey Pot’s Underwater Glow Party on July 3. Thousands of L.E.D. swords, hats, necklaces and other items will be given away during this Finding Dory inspired event. The party starts at 9 p.m., with free cover before 10 p.m, after $5 cover for 21 and over, and $8 for anyone younger.
Fireworks Display at Flamingo Resort
Join special performer Jeffery Kelly at St.Pete’s Flamingo resort on July 3. Fireworks with a show begin at 10 p.m.
