Chris Colfer, actor and singer of Glee fame, will be holding an event for his newly released book The Land of Stories: An Author’s Odyssey in Kissimmee July 19.
This novel is the fifth in the children’s fiction series The Land of Stories.
Hosted through Books-A-Million, the signing will be at Osceola High School starting at 7:00 p.m. and will be Colfer’s only tour stop in Florida.
According to the event’s website, it will be “an interactive event with Chris – reading, audience Q&A, TLOS Trivia, a costume contest and prizes.” Colfer will select five attendees for a meet-and-greet after the event.
26-year-old Colfer played gay character Kurt Hummel on the Fox TV show Glee from 2009 to 2015, a role for which he won a Golden Globe Award in 2011. He published his first book in The Land of Stories series in 2012, and has seen success with the books since. The series follows the adventures of twins Alex and Conner Bailey as they explore the world of fairy tales.
