If you are:
A family member of the deceased
• Fill out an Application for Assistance at PulseOfOrlando.org and receive monetary aid as quickly as possible.
• Fill out a claim form online for monetary assistance at OneOrlando.org between August 11 and September 12.
• Apply to receive information on monetary and emotional resources from the National Compassion Fund by filling out the form at NationalCompassionFund.org/Funds/Application-Orlando or by calling 855-484-2846.
A surviving victim or family member of a survivor
• Fill out an Application for Assistance at PulseOfOrlando.org and receive monetary aid as quickly as possible.
• Fill out a claim form online for monetary assistance at OneOrlando.org between August 11 and September 12.
• Apply to receive information on monetary and emotional resources from the National Compassion Fund by filling out the form at NationalCompassionFund.org/Funds/Application-Orlando or by calling 855-484-2846.
Former Pulse employee
• All employees should have received funds specifically earmarked for them through Pulse of Orlando. If there are any concerns or discrepancies, fill out the contact form at PulseOfOrlando.org/Contact
Business owner in the area
• Plans are currently being devised to distribute remaining funds through the OneOrlando fund. Keep checking their website, OneOrlando.org for further developments.
Someone emotionally impacted
• Free mental health counseling is available Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida at 946 N. Mills Ave. Orlando, FL 32803. Call 407-228-8272 or visit thecenterorlando.org. No appointment required. Also,
• The Mental Health Association of Central Florida is offering a new program, Orlando United Counseling, in response to the recent Orlando tragedies to help the community heal. Visit MHACF.org/Orlando-United-Counseling for more information.
• The Greater Orlando Trauma Recovery Network is offering up to 5 hours of free Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy sessions. Call 321-233-6365 or email GreaterOrlandoTRN@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.
