Pulse nightclub will be receiving a new fence around it’s perimeter that will be put up with the combined effort of the Pulse owners, the City of Orlando, the Downtown South Main Street District and the Orange County Regional History Center, according to a press release.
The fence will be erected Sept. 19, and will feature a wrap to showcase art from local artists.
Since the tragedy on June 12, the front of Pulse has become a memorial where the community has left tributes to the 49 that had lost their lives. These items will be collected and preserved by the History Center, according to the press release.
“The commemorative screen will serve as a visual memorial in remembrance of the 49 victims and more than 50 injured during the Pulse shooting, and as a testament to the strength, unity and love demonstrated by the Orlando community in the face of tragedy,” the press release reads.
