TAMPA | Tampa Pride kicked off its 2020 fundraising Nov. 2 with “Wild Carnavale,” the second annual Pride Zoo-La at ZooTampa at Lowry Park.
The fundraiser began with a performance by the Tampa Bay Pride Band. Guests were treated to an artists’ showcase highlighting local talent, raffles from area organizations and up close and personal interactions with zoo animals, including a special giraffe feeding.
Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and Tampa Pride President Carrie West proudly welcomed attendees to the celebration, reflecting on the status of Pride throughout the city. West subsequently previewed some of Tampa Pride’s 2020 plans and unveiled next year’s grand marshals, of which Watermark was proudly named.
DJ Greg Anderson provided the evening’s music, which featuring special performances by Adriana Sparkle, De Delovely and more fan favorite entertainers. For more on Tampa Pride 2020, watch Watermark and visit TampaPride.org.
