Both Disney and Universal revealed their new Pride merchandise collections in anticipation of Pride month in June.
Disney announced “The 2023 Disney Pride Collection” on Monday and it features new designs that are available on the shopDisney website.
The collection includes accessories, apparel, pins and plush toys adorned with colorful patterns and rainbow flags just in time for Pride month. There is merch for all Disney fans, including rainbow-colored Marvel and Star Wars items and clothing. They also rolled out collectibles, home goods and pet clothes for the occasion, including a set of six Star Wars Droid Factory figures in rainbow colors.
Universal Studios also added a new decal set and a folding hand fan to their already existing Pride collection, “Love is Universal.” The collection already includes mugs, bags, apparel and a license plate. The new items are available in the Universal Orlando parks but not yet available on the website.
Universal also announced that through August, they will be donating 100% of the proceeds from the collection’s sales to local LGBTQ+ organizations, including The Center Orlando, Zebra Youth and onePULSE.
