The Rev. Vicki Miller has returned to the Church of the Trinity Metropolitan Community Church after an assignment as the temporary pastor of Trinity MCC in Gainesville. Miller will resume her duties as the Sarasota church’s Minister of Congressional Care.
While the church welcomes back a member of its clergy, it is also preparing for a fall entertainment lineup that includes an evening with out comedian Michele Balan on Sept. 12. The former Watermark cover girl and finalist from NBC’s Last Comic Standing will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available, and some include a pre-show barbecue with the performer.
Also on the fall lineup for Trinity MCC is its annual Follies, which premiers on Nov. 6. The church will hold open auditions for variety, vocal and vaudeville-style acts on Sunday, Sept. 13 and Monday, Sept. 14. For more information call 941-355-0847.
