KindRED Pride organizing drive-up donations for Joy MCC Food Bank

ORLANDO | The KindRED Pride Foundation is launching another Food Bank Brigade on April 23 to help gather items for Joy MCC’s Food Pantry.

“Help replenish the shelves at Joy MCC’s Food Bank with a brigade of vehicles dropping off needed food items,” the nonprofit organization expressed.

Starting at noon, volunteers will greet the cars pulling up at Joy MCC, located at 2351 S. Ferncreek Ave., to collect the supplies so that donors can maintain a safe distance. KindRED Pride states that main items needed for the food bank include:

-Shelf milk

-Vegetable soup

-Small jars of peanut butter

-Canned fruit

-Cereal of any kind

-2 lb. bags of rice

-Fruit cups, for the kids

The first KindRED Pride Food Bank Brigade was held on April 9.

If you are unable to attend the Food Bank Brigade, monetary donations can be made at KindREDPride.org/donate. Volunteers will go shopping for you and donate the supplies in your name. Monetary donations are tax deductible.
