Dining Out For Life returns to Central Florida, benefits The Center Orlando

ORLANDO | The LGBT+ Center Orlando will be the beneficiary when Dining Out For Life returns to Central Florida April 29.

Dining Out For Life is an annual dining fundraising event that helps raise money for community-based organizations serving people living with or impacted by HIV. In Central Florida, The Center Orlando is partnering with 15 restaurants in Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties who will each donate a percentage of their April 29 sales.

In Orlando, Eola General will donate 5% of its breakfast and lunch sales; The Hammered Lamb will donate 25% of sales from noon to midnight; MX Taco will donate 25% of its lunch and dinner sales from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Orlando Brewing is donating $1 from every beer sold from 4-9 p.m.; Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria is donating 25% of sales from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Pop’s Pizza is donating 25% of its pick-up order sales from 4-9 p.m.; SAVOY Orlando will donate 25% of its sales from 2 p.m. to midnight; Tako Cheena is donating 25% of sales from 11 a.m. to midnight; and Yugiri Ramen Project will donate $3 from every Miso sold.

In Kissimmee, Big John’s Rockin’ BBQ will donate 25% of its total sales; and Matador Tacos & Tapas will donate 25% of your meal and 100% of Tequila Sunrises sold from 4-10 p.m.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill will also be donating 20% of dine-in and carry out orders from 4-9 p.m. at four participating Central Florida locations — Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, Oviedo and Winter Garden. Make sure to tell them you are there for Dining Out For Life to have your 20% donated.

Dining Out For Life has been getting restaurants to donate a percentage of their sales since 1991, raising millions of dollars for HIV services in those participating restaurant’s cities. This year, Dining Out For Life is taking place in nearly 50 U.S. cities.
