ORLANDO | Ahead of Thursday’s season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6,” in which local legend and drag icon Ginger Minj is in the final four, we have been blessed with the first single off of Minj’s forthcoming country album, “Double Wide Diva.”

“Walk Tall,” which Minj released an animated music video for Aug. 31, is a song about being who you are, living authentically and walking tall no matter who says you shouldn’t.

“Double Wide Diva” will be Minj’s second album release this year. Earlier this summer she released the dance pop album “Gummy Bear,” but with the new album’s release she says she is planning to stick with country music.

“It’s what I always wanted to do, it’s what I knew the best growing up and it’s what I think my voice is more suited toward,” Minj said, speaking with Watermark for an upcoming feature. “I just knew that I had to ease into country. I think the country fans have an immediate reaction toward drag and the drag fans have an immediate reaction toward country, so I have to kind of ease both sides of that in. But I think they’re ready.”

“Walk Tall” was written by Minj, Brandon Stansell and Jeffrey James, and the “Wizard of Oz” inspired animation in the video is by Shawn Adeli.

“Double Wide Diva” will be released in September and is available for pre-order. Watch the animated music video below.
