TAMPA | Bob the Drag Queen sashayed into the eighth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2016, a reality competition she left purse first and wearing its crown.
The nonbinary comedian hasn’t slowed down since, leading comedy specials, podcasts and HBO’s first unscripted series “We’re Here.” Now Bob is coming to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m., and Watermark has your chance to be there.
“Bob the Drag Queen has a lot of irons in the fire,” the venue announced her Tampa Bay stop. “She won season eight of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ where we first got a taste of her comedic skills. Then there’s ‘We’re Here,’ the unscripted reality series on which Bob and fellow drag artists spread fabulousness (and tolerance) to small towns across the country.
“Bob also stars in MTV’s ‘Drag My Dad,’ for everyone who ever wanted to see their father wear a dress,” they continued. “Now, Bob is sharing her comedic prowess on stage making the world laugh with her impeccable timing, true-life tales and hilarious observations.”
