ORLANDO | Come Out With Pride (COWP) has not officially announced what Orlando’s Pride celebration will look like this October due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the organization is looking for community input on the matter.
COWP released a community survey May 28 to find out people’s opinions on attending events during the pandemic.
“COVID-19 has impacted our ability to gather together; many events including other Pride festivals have been forced to postpone or cancel,” COWP states at the beginning of its survey. “Our team is still evaluating several different alternative plans for October — this survey will help provide us with valuable insight into what our community is thinking and feeling.”
The “Come Out With Pride Community Survey” asks a series of questions about your concerns with COVID-19 and the likelihood you would attend Pride events, whether they were physical or virtual events.
Responses are anonymous and the survey will be open until June 8. To participate in the survey, click here.
