In a sea of 2,500 lesbians, DJ Whitney Day and DJ Pat Pat turned tables with today’s top hits at the Girls in Wonderland Marry Me party at House of Blues.
Dancers such as the popular Ivy Les Vixens and Katie James gave the girls some eye candy.
Nadine Smith, the executive chief officer of Equality Florida, spoke and informed the crowd that marriage equality will be coming to Florida in the nearby future. Dani Campbell from “A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila” and Lea Lorrain from “Bad Girls Club” helped auction off a trip by Olivia cruise line to raise money for Equality Florida. The auction started with $1,000 and ended with the highest bet of $2,500. Tables were set up where people could sign a petition for marriage equality in Florida. VarieTEASE and Baby Blue performed a skit about two girls falling in love and getting hitched (rainbow wedding cake was involved).
