Randy Rainbow — the Emmy-nominated comedian, singer and satirist who has gained international fame thanks to his musical, political parodies — is back with another hot taking on President Donald Trump’s recent “Obamagate” accusations and other distractions.

“Let’s discuss the unfortunate matter at hand, the global crisis that is devastating countless American lives, reeking economic havoc, the reason we have all been forced to take shelter in our homes — Obamagate,” Rainbow states near the start of his new video before asking Trump, “What is that?”

As the clip of Trump goes into his real-life attacks against former president Barack Obama, the opening music from the iconic musical “Fiddler On The Roof” begins to play and Rainbow looks into the camera.

“A global pandemic. Sounds like some fictional Steven Soderbergh bullsh*t from 2011, right? Believe it or not, it’s a real thing. People are suffering, millions are out of work, the economy has evaporated and worst of all I haven’t had a haircut in more than two months,” Rainbow says. “So how does an unprepared, reality TV host pretending to be the president deal with such an unprecedented crisis? I can tell you in one word.”

Rainbow then goes into the full production of his “Tradition” parody called “Distraction!”

Within just a few hours of being released, “Distraction!” had been watched across Rainbow’s social media platforms nearly 1 millions times, and received shout outs from several of his celebrity fans including Oscar-winning actress Patricia Arquette and actor Tom Arnold.

This isn’t Rainbow’s first “Fiddler On The Roof” parody. In 2017, he took on Trump spokesperson Kellyanne Conway with a “Matchmaker” parody titled “Fact-Checker, Fact-Checker.”
