TAMPA | The Tampa LGBT Chamber‘s Pride in Business luncheon returned June 1, kicking off Pride Month at The Westshore Grand.
More than 300 business professionals and advocates participated in the sold-out event, which welcomed Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and community leaders Bemetra Simmons, Brian Auld, Ana Cruz, Doug Tilden and Nathan Bruemmer.
Panelists discussed their the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion and and outside of the workplace, detailing its importance in ensuring Tampa Bay thrives. Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber President Justice Gennari also presented the chamber’s 2022 Scholarship recipient with their award, which was made possible by the donations from presenting sponsor Sheriff Chad Chronister & Nikki DeBartolo, along with the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation and other members.
